Robert Treat Paine Papers

This reproduces the previously printed volumes, which cover 1746 through 1786, from Paine's youth, through his work during the American Revolution, and into his tenure as Massachusetts Attorney General.

The Winthrop Papers

This provides access to the contents of volumes 1 through 4 of the Society’s previously printed edition, encompassing annotated transcriptions of Winthrop documents composed primarily in the 16th and 17th centuries.

Charles Francis Adams, Sr.: The Civil War Diaries (Unverified Transcriptions)

These unverified transcriptions of Charles Francis Adams’s diaries are from January 1861 through April 1865, when he served as US minister to the Court of St. James’s during the American Civil War.
